College basketball fans rejoice! The NCAA will soon be making its way to Buffalo for two days of March Madness tournament games. Hosted by MAAC, Canisius College, and Niagara University, first/second rounds NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball games will take place in downtown Buffalo. On Thursday, March 16, 2017 and Saturday, March 18th, 2017, the games will be played at Key Bank Center.
This isn’t the first time NCAA has chosen to hold games in Buffalo, and Canisus Director of Athletics and Tournament Co-Director Bill Maher has said “The fact that the Buffalo-Niagara region has once again been selected to host the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship is another positive affirmation for our community.”
